On Saturday and Sunday, the republic's weightlifting friends will once again have the opportunity to watch the fights of our best athletes - the Riga Weightlifting Championships will take place.

International class master of sports Kārlis Pumpuriņš, masters of sports Vilis Pērkons, Guntis Kalns, Aleksandrs Diņņikovs, Juris Kļaviņš, Jezups Kivlāns, Aleksandrs are ready for battle.

Belušs, Arturs Sliede , Valerijs Petrovs and many others, a total of 110 athletes.

Only Honored Master of Sports Gennady Ivanchenko and Master of Sports of International Class Vladimir Anikin will not participate. They are preparing for the European Championships, which will be held in Madrid from June 9 to 17.
