Artūrs Sliede — 206 kg!

Yesterday, Dinamo weightlifters held a competition dedicated to the All-Union Day of Bodybuilders. The best result was achieved by the republic's record holder Artūrs Sliede. In the second heavyweight clean & press, he lifted 206 kg and improved his previous republic record by six kilograms. 

Three more new republican records were set by V. Petrovs from Daugavpils, who reached 135.5 kg in the snatch, 173 kg in the clean and jerk, and 447.5 kg in the 3-lift total.
