The Latvian team, trained by Mikhail Fraifeld, achieved great success at the Union "Dinamo" weightlifting championships held in Riga.

Artūrs Sliede , the second heavyweight athlete, once again confirmed that his potential is far from exhausted and that in the future 600 kg in the classic triathlon is not unrealistic. This time A. Sliede «stopped» at 565 kg. Immediately beating his own Latvian record by 20 (!) kilograms. In addition, in the clean and jerk, the talented athlete lifted a 210 kg barbell.
