Latvian second heavyweight athlete Arturs Sliede reached 540 kilograms in the triathlon in Riga, which is not only a new Latvian record, but also an internationally significant result.  He lifted 186 kg in the press, 150 kg in the snatch, and 205.5 kg in the clean and jerk.
