The first test races for Latvian track and field athletes took place at the Dinamo Stadium for two days. True, many of our most outstanding athletes, who are preparing for the new season in the south, did not participate, such as Lāce, Lūsis, Hlistovs, Lanka, Ringa and others.

Yesterday, Austra Kalniņa achieved a personal best in the women's shot put - 14.73 m. Also

The new LVFKI athlete Rudīte Grīnberga improved her best result - 13.84 m. By 3 cm

she lost to L. Lebedeva. The men's competition was won by Arturs Sliede (16.39),  but Edgars Kārkliņš reached 16.16 m. In pole vault, Voldemārs Veršilo reached 4.20 m. The result of the candidate for the master in the 400 m race was Virginia Zondaka - 56.9 sec.
