Season Start with New Records

On Sunday, the Republican Children's Sports School held another test race for the school's youth track and field team. The first test was also held for the youngest track and field athletes (born in 1945-1947), who competed in a friendly match with students from Pärnu. The nice weather and the carefully maintained RVR stadium contributed to good results. They were especially good in the throwing disciplines.

THE RECORD SHOT WAS LEADERED BY RENĀTE LĀCE, REACHING 5.88 m IN THE LONG JUMP. 

This is a new republican record for young women and girls. Immediately afterwards, the informant had to report that ARTURS SLIEDE THREW A 6 kg SHOT 15.64 m. This is a new youth record. 

The team battle ended with a 101.5:73.5 point victory for the Riga team.
