The second day of the Riga Youth Athletics Championships did not yield any record-breaking achievements. However, the team competition was intense. The Dynamos team, as well as the students of the 1st and 3rd Children's Sports Schools, had equal chances of winning first place.

Sport walking is unpopular among Riga's youth. Only the 3rd children's sports school has a walking group, and only students from this school competed in the race. It is no coincidence that Rigans were able to fight for the last places in the republican cross-country championships.
